Thank you for signing up to receive our PassItPro Practice Quizzes!
Once you finish answering the 20 practice questions, you’ll probably be eager to find some more practice questions to answer. Our online course features over 200 more practice questions! But there may be a piece missing to your test preparation.
As you likely noticed, there is often more than one answer choice that seems right and that you don’t have a clear way of understanding which is the correct choice. You may have heard your peers describe the “I can get it down to two answers and then I am stuck” dilemma.
PassItPro can teach you to be a good detective, to find the clues in the stem, to establish a clear basis by which to recognize the correct answer. It isn’t complicated, but it is likely quite different from what you are doing now that may not be solving the “stuck” problem.
In the multiple choice format on the ASWB exams, more than one answer seems correct. There is no clear basis to help you choose the right one and you’re stuck.
Because you don’t know how to choose, you lose your confidence. You’re hoping the answers will rescue you, but they aren’t. You’re not sure what you’re doing wrong.
Put your full attention on the narrative of the question, that’s where the help is. Become a skilled detective and extract the clues to determine the best answer.

She received her MSW from the University of Michigan in 1971 and has worked in a community mental health setting as a therapist, supervisor and administrator, followed by a decade in private practice. After taking the Clinical test in 2009 she began tutoring social workers; this gave her the opportunity to observe directly which skills and content are necessary for mastery of the ASWB exams. In May 2013, she created a 5 hour online course which teaches and explains the essential exam content. To this she added a live 90-minute training session to teach students the skills to uncover the concept in each question.
